Richard F. Cipriano, III, Esquire was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He graduated from Jesuit High School and attended the University of South Florida where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Mr. Cipriano attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan and has been practicing law in the State of Florida since 2004.
Mr. Cipriano has extensive knowledge and experience representing consumers who have been sued by original creditors, debt collectors, and debt buyers attempting to collect consumer debts. He represents consumers who have been sued by debt buyers, including but not limited to Cavalry SPV I, LLC., Credit Corp Solutions, Inc., Crown Asset Management, LLC., LVNV Funding, LLC., Midland Funding, LLC., Midland Credit Management, Inc., and Portfolio Recovery Associates, LLC., in Hillsborough County, surrounding counties, and throughout the State of Florida.
Mr. Cipriano gained a tremendous amount of jury trial experience as a prosecutor with the Twelfth Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office as an Assistant State Attorney in both Sarasota County and Manatee County and applies those trial skills in his private practice.
He is a member of the Florida Bar Association and National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA). NACA is a nationwide organization of more than 1,500 attorneys and consumer advocates committed to representing consumers’ interests and protecting their rights.
